So Sunday is Senior Day at Maryland, which plays host to Virginia in its regular season finale.
Three seniors (four-year staple Sean Mosley, junior college transfer Berend Weijs and walk-on Jon Dillard) will play their final game at Comcast Center. And since it’s Mark Turgeon’s first season, it seemed appropriate to ask how many of the three would get the nod.
“All three will not start,” Turgeon said. “Berend will start and Sean. I’m not going to get in the habit of doing that with the nonscholarship players.”
With that in mind, Weijs probably occupies the spot in the lineup Alex Len took on Wednesday against North Carolina and that Ashton Pankey occupied for a few games before that.
Look for the backcourt to probably remain the same, then, barring a surprise: Mosley, Nick Faust and Terrell Stoglin.
