LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Time to clean House

The National Defense Authorization Act passed without hearings, thereby cementing the United States’ new position as a police state by giving law enforcement the right to detain and imprison us without charges or due process (“End of the Constitution,” Commentary, Monday).

We are more than $15.3 trillion in debt. Our money has no backing. Government now wants to control the Internet. We have witnessed failed ventures (Solyndra, to the tune of $550 million, Ener1, $118 million lost) and illegal activities (think of the disastrous Fast & Furious gun-running operation) covered up by the Eric H. Holder Jr.-led Justice Department.

Now Obamacare will force Americans to pay for abortions, regardless of personal or religious beliefs.

Wake up, folks. This is not someone else’s problem. We should all be collectively and proactively participating in the Get Out of Our House (GOOOH) plan to clean out the entire House of Representatives and replace it with citizen representatives, before we lose what’s left of our freedom.

This is the way out. Let’s grab onto it and turn out in droves to participate in GOOOH.
