    G-8 discussions will focus on economic growth

    Though it could be overshadowed by the conflict in Syria, leaders from the world's major industrial nations plan to discuss how they can boost economic growth and regain competitiveness during the Group of Eight summit this week.

    Nazi commander discovered living in Minnesota

    A top commander of a Nazi SS-led unit accused of burning villages filled with women and children lied to American immigration officials to get into the United States and has been living in Minnesota since shortly after World War II, according to evidence uncovered by The Associated Press.
